7 Age Warnings ................................................8 Logos...........................................................9 Country Of Origins

In this gallery we see many details from the Palitoy cardbacks. Seen to the right is the 45-back that we saw on the Anglophone page. The offer here is for Nien Nunb.

This is the front of the other Palitoy Jedi (65-Back) card in the Chewseum. You see that it has no stem in its bubble, where the 45 back had two. This does not really do it for me, but I appreciate the fervor of others for bubble variations. The reason I picked this up was for the offer on the back...

Here we see the 65-back and the great Chewbacca Bandolier Strap offer. Who could pass that up? You get the character and his carrying device with which you could carry him!

The French would call this a mise en abîme. Actually, so would the British. (The expression translates literally as "put in an abyss." It is most often used in those magazine covers where someone is reading a magazine with a picture of him reading the magazine on the cover).

This is the detail of the back of the card, but if you look below you will see a strange smaller detail. Apparently, Palitoy decided to extend this offer after they printed up the cards with an expiration date. So, most of the cardbacks from this era have one line of text sharpied out. You can barely make it out in the super detail.

This is yet another small detail, that much like the tape on the bubble with the Meccano, seems to detract from its charm almost as much as it adds to it. As it was done at the factory, however, it is not seen as a real defect. It seems to match nicely with the Damnation Memoriae Ewoks up above.
